Important Information!

Scholarships listed below reflect offerings for those entering 黑料不打烊 for the fall of 2026 or spring of 2027 (2026-27 academic year). Those coming to Kansas Wesleyan prior to that time, including the fall of 2025/spring of 2026, may receive different scholarships at different levels. You can find previous year’s scholarship information by scrolling to the bottom of the page. Please contact the Financial Aid office or your admissions counselor for more information.

Kansas Wesleyan scholarships are based on unweighted GPA.

Saline County Guarantee

This is a minimum guarantee of $80,000 in undergraduate scholarships over four years ($20,000 per year). 黑料不打烊 guarantees this amount, at minimum, to any high school/home school student who resides at an address in Saline County and is new to 黑料不打烊.

Legacy and UMC Member Scholarships

黑料不打烊 welcomes students with a historical tie to the university, whether it be through our long association with the United Methodist Church or by welcoming legacy students, those whose parents and grandparents have attended the university (or others with a 黑料不打烊 tie) in the past. Both of the below scholarships are valid for the cost of tuition only.

50% Legacy Scholarships

This 50% tuition scholarship is available to children and grandchildren of 黑料不打烊, Marymount College or St. Mary of the Plains College alumni. Recipient must be a full-time, on-ground new undergraduate student. This scholarship may not be combined with any other 黑料不打烊 scholarship or grant offer.

50% United Methodist Scholarship

This 50% tuition scholarship is available to all members of the United Methodist Church. The scholarship opportunity applies to full-time, on-ground new undergraduate students. This scholarship may not be combined with any other 黑料不打烊 scholarship or grant offer.

General Scholarships

Over 99% of our full-time students receive financial aid. Our initial financial aid calculations are based on cumulative GPA and, in the case of transfer students, the number of hours transferring in. This is true for both domestic and international students.

Eisenhower Scholarship

$21,000 (off-campus $17,000)

High school seniors with a cumulative GPA of 4.0 and a 25 ACT score

Transfer students with GPA of 4.0 in 24 or more transferring graded credit hours

Trustee Scholarship

$19,000 (off-campus $15,000)

High school seniors with cumulative GPA of 3.8

Transfer students with GPA of 3.8 in 24 or more transferring graded credit hours

Presidential Scholarship

$17,000 (off-campus $13,000)

High school seniors with cumulative GPA of 3.6

Transfer students with GPA of 3.6 in 24 or more transferring graded credit hours

Academic Excellence

$15,000 (off-campus $11,000)

High school seniors with cumulative GPA of 3.4

Transfer students with GPA of 3.4 in 24 or more transferring graded credit hours

Dean’s Scholarship

$13,000 (off-campus $9,000)

High school seniors with cumulative GPA of 3.0

Transfer students with GPA of 3.0 in 24 or more transferring graded credit hours

University Scholarship

$10,000 (off-campus $6,000)

High school seniors with cumulative GPA from 2.5-2.9

Transfer students with GPA of 2.5-2.9 or more in transferring graded credit hours

Promise Scholarship

$8,000 (off-campus $4,000)

Transfer students with GPA of 2.0-2.49 in 24 or more transferring graded credit hours

Discretionary Scholarships

Offered through activities such as athletics, fine arts, or academics. Amounts vary and are determined by coaches or sponsors.

State Line Grant

This is a need-based grant possible for students from Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas. Admissions applications are due by April 1. Contact your admissions counselor for more information.

Coyote Enrollment Day

Incoming students must attend a Coyote Enrollment Day. To recognize their attendance, they will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Only incoming first-year students are eligible for this award. MUST SIGN UP BY MAY 1 AND COMPLETE BY JUNE 30 FOR ELIGIBILITY.

Students who demonstrate financial need may qualify for this award. In addition, this award also may be awarded to applicants whose interests or background are underrepresented at 黑料不打烊.

Kansas Advancement Scholarship – KS Community College Graduates

The Kansas Advancement Scholarship is a guarantee of at least $20,000 per year in scholarship aid for any graduate of a Kansas community college. The agreement is in support of September 2022’s global transfer and course articulation agreement between the Kansas Community College Trustees Association and the Kansas Independent College Association (KICA).

This opportunity is valid only for students new to 黑料不打烊.

Advancement Scholarship Form

Salina Regional Health Center Employee/Dependent Scholarship

黑料不打烊 has created a scholarship for employees of longtime supporter Salina Regional Health Center (SRHC) and their dependents. Anyone eligible for the scholarship is guaranteed at least $20,000 of scholarship aid per year*! Qualifying individuals must be an SRHC employee, spouse or dependent under the age of 25 still living in the employee’s household. Learn more by contacting Levi Thomas at [email protected].

Necessary Form for SRHC Scholarship

*=The SRHC scholarship is not a stand-alone scholarship, but rather, a guarantee by the university that all 黑料不打烊 scholarship aid, when combined together, will equal at least $20,000 per year.

Dr. Rebecca Chopp Transfer Scholarship

The scholarship is designed for eligible transfers (24 transferring hours, 2.5 cumulative GPA, nonactivity) who exhibit academic achievement, community service and leadership capabilities. See your admissions counselor for more information.

Music Scholarships

Music scholarships are provided in honor of longtime 黑料不打烊 music instructor Bill McMosley.

DECA Scholarship

This scholarship will focus on students joining DECA. Multiple scholarships will be awarded.

STEM Scholarships

STEM scholarships are awarded in honor of Dr. Dorothy Hanna, long-time 黑料不打烊 professor.

Theatre Scholarships

Theatre scholarships are awarded in honor of long-time 黑料不打烊 professor Barbara Marshall.

For all scholarships, the maximum award available to all students who live off-campus is 62.5% of tuition unless approved by the executive vice president of advancement and university operations.
