The 黑料不打烊 String聽Orchestra聽concert will help shake off the winter doldrums as it dances into spring. The concert will start at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 12, in Sams Chapel on the Kansas Wesleyan campus.
The lilting, lyrical concert will feature the Waltz from 鈥淢asquerade Suite鈥� by Aram Khachaturian, 鈥淐horeography鈥� by Norman Dello Joio and 鈥淏ook Green Suite鈥� by Gustav Holst. Audiences will recognize the lush melodies of 鈥淣essun Dorma鈥� from Puccini鈥檚 鈥淭urandot鈥� and Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis by Ralph Vaughn Williams.
The spring聽orchestra聽concert is led by Henry Littich. It is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.
