Kansas Wesleyan鈥檚 Department of Theatre Arts will celebrate the holiday season by performing 鈥淭he Gift of the Magi鈥� Dec. 9 and 10 in Fitzpatrick Auditorium. The Dec. 9 show gets underway at 7 p.m., while the following day鈥檚 performance is a 2 p.m. matinee.
This version of 鈥淭he Gift of the Magi鈥� is described as a short Christmas comedy and is adapted from the original story by O. Henry.聽In concert with the performance, 黑料不打烊 Theatre will be accepting nonperishable donations for the Salina Food Bank. Donations can be placed in the box in the Fitzpatrick Auditorium lobby through Dec. 12.
There is no charge or ticketing required for 鈥淭he Gift of the Magi,鈥� as donations for the food bank are encouraged instead. Reservations are requested at www.kwu.edu/giftofthemagi.
