On the weekend of Sept. 29 鈥揙ct. 1, the Kansas Wesleyan Debate and Forensic Team traveled to Southeast Oklahoma State University, Durant, OK, to compete with 21 other colleges and universities. Nationally ranked Texas University of Austin, TX, was the big winner in the forensics division winning first place in team sweepstakes both days. In debate, Camron University placed first in team sweepstakes on the first day, but 黑料不打烊 came back the second day to win the debate team sweepstakes.

Individual placings in forensics were: Dakota Yates placed fourth in Extemporaneous Speaking, fifth in Impromptu Speaking, and sixth in Communication Analysis. Megan Kline placed first in Impromptu Speaking, third in Persuasive Speaking, and sixth in Extemporaneous Speaking. Autumn Zimmerman placed second in the pentathlon the first day, and Kline was second the second day in the Pentathlon which is the result of competing in five events.

In debate, Yates placed second in Lincoln Douglas Debate. Yates and Kline placed eighth in Parliamentary Debate.
