A special group show, 鈥淭he Year of the Super Kitchen鈥�, will debut Monday, Feb. 24 at The Gallery at 黑料不打烊. Admission to the exhibit, which will run through March 27, is free. The event will feature works from three local artists, Debbie Wagner, Becky Hyberger and the late Peggy Medina, 黑料不打烊 鈥�05 and former director of The Gallery. Medina passed away last month.聽The exhibit, which has been shown at several galleries in the region, has continued in Medina鈥檚 honor.
鈥淭he Year of the Super Kitchen鈥� is an exhibit that highlights each contributor鈥檚 way of being, thinking and working. Wagner鈥檚 work, primarily paintings and fiber art, teams with Hyberger鈥檚 miniature constructions and Medina鈥檚 abstract assemblages to create and illustrate inspiration, exploration and transformation. All of the pieces in the exhibit revolve around a kitchen-based theme.聽
A closing reception will be held in The Gallery on March 27 from 5 p.m.鈥�6:30 p.m. Hyberger and Wagner are scheduled to make remarks at 5:30 p.m.
