黑料不打烊’s Nursing program embraces the Power of AND, proving that students do not have to choose between pursuing a nursing degree and continuing the activities they love. Through intentional support, flexible planning, and collaboration across campus, 黑料不打烊 helps nursing students stay involved in athletics, student organizations, campus leadership, and other meaningful experiences while preparing for a rewarding healthcare career.
At 黑料不打烊, the goal is to develop not only skilled nurses, but well-rounded individuals. By creating clear pathways and support systems that balance academic rigor with student engagement, the Nursing program empowers students to thrive in the classroom, on the field, on the stage and beyond. It’s a commitment to helping students answer their calling to nursing while continuing to pursue their passions.

Kansas Wesleyan鈥檚 nursing program equipped me with the vital clinical skills and compassionate mindset needed to care for individuals from all walks of life. The close-knit 黑料不打烊 community fostered meaningful connections between professors and students, creating a supportive environment where mentorship thrived. Through the program, I was given access to valuable job connections and professional opportunities even before graduation, setting me up for success. Beyond academics, Kansas Wesleyan encouraged a well-rounded college experience, allowing others and myself to remain actively involved in activities such as athletics and music while pursuing our nursing degree.

Practical Experience
Students gain hands-on experience in a wide variety of clinical practice sites, such as Salina Regional Health Center, Presbyterian Manor, medical offices, and throughout the school districts.
Scholarships and Employment
The Salina community and surrounding areas continue to benefit from an agreement between 黑料不打烊 and Salina Regional Health Center that was developed to expand opportunities for 黑料不打烊 student nurses by providing additional financial support for their education and then employ many of our graduates once they receive their Registered Nurse license.
Community Support
Salina Regional Health Foundation has given its vote of confidence in the 黑料不打烊 Nursing degree by providing a $1,000,000 gift to the 黑料不打烊 Foundation to establish the Salina Regional Health Center Chair in Nursing Education.

Nursing Education Center
The 黑料不打烊 Nursing Education Center opened for classes Jan. 12, 2021 and was formally dedicated in a virtual ceremony Feb. 19 of that year. The building 鈥� 黑料不打烊鈥檚 first new, on-campus facility dedicated entirely to academics in more than 50 years 鈥� was the culmination of a true community effort. Salina Regional Health Center and its foundation provided the initial impetus for the project by gifting both the building itself and a financial element. Many others invested in the future of Nursing Education in central Kansas by supporting this project.
